Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, if you do not have insurance or are not using insurance to pay for care, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care before you receive it.

At Nichols PT & Wellness the prices are already public: an initial evaluation is $210 and a follow-up visit is $160, each sixty minutes. You can ask me for a written Good Faith Estimate for your planned course of care at any time, and I will provide one before your first visit if you request it.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Keep a copy of your estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (785) 410-1823.
