Not everyone does their best healing in a clinic. At home you are relaxed, you are not rushing through traffic in pain, and you are practicing on the actual stairs, floor, and furniture you use every day.
It also means every minute of the hour is yours. I am not moving between rooms. I have time to listen to your whole story, examine thoroughly, and treat appropriately. That is how you get to the underlying cause of a problem instead of chasing symptoms.
What to expect
Simple From the First Call
- Reach out. Call, text, or send the form. I answer within one business day.
- We pick a place and time. Your home, office, or gym. Clear a little floor space and I bring the rest.
- Your first hour. We talk, I examine and treat, and you leave with a plan.
- Follow up on your schedule. Sixty minutes each visit, and a superbill if you want to file with your insurance.
Pricing
No Surprises
Paid at the time of the visit. Cash, Check, Venmo, HSA, and FSA. Superbills available upon request for out-of-network claims.

I have been a physical therapist since 2008, with more than eighteen years of orthopedic experience and a certification in functional dry needling. I have worked with athletes from middle school through Division 1, weekend warriors, and older adults who want to stay strong and independent.
I started Nichols PT & Wellness in 2023 to practice the way I think care should work: enough time, one person, a clear plan, and a clear price.

Things People Ask First
What do you mean by mobile physical therapy?
It means I come to you. We can meet at your home, your office, your gym, or another location that works for you. I bring the treatment table and everything else a visit needs. You clear a little floor space and that is it.
How much does a visit cost?
An initial evaluation is $210 and an in-person follow-up visit is $160. Both are a full sixty minutes, one on one, and the same price for physical therapy and personal training. Virtual follow-ups are $120 for 30 to 45 minutes. That is the whole price list, and you know it before we start.
Do you take insurance?
I am a private-pay practice and I do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of the visit. After each physical therapy visit I can give you a superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Whether and how much your plan reimburses depends on your plan, so it is worth a call to them if that matters to you.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. Kansas allows you to see a physical therapist for an evaluation without a physician referral. If your evaluation shows something that needs medical attention, I will say so and make sure your primary care physician is part of the plan.
What is the free meet and greet?
A fifteen minute conversation, by phone or video, with no charge and no obligation. You tell me what is going on, I tell you honestly whether I think I can help, and we decide together whether to book an evaluation. It is the easiest way to start if you are not sure.
